Callow Top Holiday Park, Ashbourne

Callow Top is an award winning family holiday park in a great location on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Within walking distance of the market town of Ashbourne yet surrounded by open green fields.

If you camp, caravan or tour in a motorhome you can enjoy the great outdoors with some home comforts to make your holiday complete. As all our electric pitches are hardstanding we’re not able to accommodate tents needing hook-up. Booking in advance is essential for peak season, school holidays and weekends.

Our on site shop stocks all the essentials plus newspapers, camping supplies & alcohol.

The focal point of the site is the Callow Inn pub & restaurant where you can enjoy a wide range of drinks and a tasty pizza and burger menu. (Weekends and peak season only).

Both families with children of all ages, and couples, will enjoy the array of things to do both on site and on our doorstep. Walks straight from the site, cycling on the traffic free Tissington Trail, fishing on the lake in our nature reserve or taking a dip in our outdoor heated swimming pool (May – mid-Sep). Alton Towers is just 20 minutes drive away.

We also have two self catering holiday cottages and an apartment to hire for short breaks or weekly stays.

Other facilities include toilets & showers (including accessible toilet & shower accessed by RADAR key), Games room with pool & table tennis tables, coarse fishing lake, pot washing & laundry rooms, coin operated hairdryers & plug sockets, free wifi hotspot, children’s play area, Calor & Camping Gas sales & freezer pack facilities.
