Our bed and breakfast accommodation is set in the heart of rural England in the beautiful undulating limestone landscape of the Peak District National Park.
The accommodation is situated on our family farm where the sheep and cattle are nurtured in easy harmony with the abundant wildlife and wild flowers.

We have many visitors who require bed and breakfast near to Alton Towers and our location is ideally suited for this.

In the spring and summer months you can enjoy watching the new lambs and calves gamboling in the fields with their mothers and listen to the skylarks’ song rising high above the unspoilt countryside. Set within a few miles of the nationally renowned beauty of the Manifold Valley and Dovedale.

The views from Throwley Hall are spectacular, and next to the current Throwley Hall is Throwley Old Hall which is owned by the National Trust, a ruin but of great interest.

The bedrooms are comfortable, well equipped and spacious. All have wash basins, tea and coffee facilities, and are en-suite or have private bathrooms.

Despite our peaceful rural location our bed and breakfast is within easy reach of Alton Towers theme park as well as Chatsworth House and the historic pottery works of Stoke on Trent.

Nearby the charming local market towns of Ashbourne, Leek and Buxton move at a gentler pace.
