The Property: 5 individual cottages + 7 bedroom Farmhouse renovated to a high standard offering all modern amenities but retaining original features that liken themselves to a Peak District Holiday. Shared patio/ BBQ area and a play area for the younger children.
Each cottage provides a double bedroom & 2 x single or bunk bed room. A further double sofa bed is provided in the large downstairs lounge.
The kitchen/dining area offers a hob/oven, fridge/freezer and washer/drier. All the cottages are on ground level for easy access and have south facing views.
High View Grange Farmhouse offers 7 double bedrooms, 3 of which are en-suites and 2 of which can be twin rooms if requested on booking. The Farmhouse offers a large open plan kitchen, dining for up to 15 and a downstiars toilet and garden room with stunning views over the village of Kniveton.
The Barn is a large communal Barn hired for your group. This is an ideal way for a group of guests to not only cook, eat and relax together but also they can play air hockey, table tennis, the piano or relax on the terrace with a BBQ enjoying the fantastic views over the village of Kniveton. Incorporating a unique opportunity for groups by having a large modern and comfortable area to all get together in a relaxed atmosphere. There is something for everyone.
Location and Local Facilities: The views are spectacular and the cottages and Farmhouse are situated on a quiet country lane, where traffic is at its minimal. A walk of 1/2 mile finds yourself in the sleepy hamlet of Kniveton, which offers a public house serving fine food and ales.
Carsington Water is situated a mile away and this area is devoted to windsurfing, sailing, wildlife and offers cycle hire. The 12-mile perimeter can be cycled or walked, visiting Hopton village and finishing at the visitors centre.
Alton Towers, Chatsworth House and all that the Peak District has to offer is within easy reach.
